A study of major issues in philosophy and/or the work
of major philosophical figures in philosophy. Topics in
philosophy may include theories of reality, theories of
knowledge, theories of value, and their practical applications.

Writing; or equivalent. 3 credit hours.
A comparative study of world religions, including but
not limited to Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism,
Christianity, and Islam.

A study of the major issues in the philosophy of
religion such as the existence and nature of God, the
relationships between faith and reason, the nature of
religious language, religious experience, and the
problem of evil.

The systematic evaluation of classical and/or contemporary ethical theories concerning the good life, human conduct in society, morals, and standards of value.
