County General Hospital                                                      Autopsy Report

Subject is an 18 year old Caucasian male, 5’9” weighing approximately 58.8 Kg.

He was admitted DOA to the E.R. on Friday evening and attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.  Time of death was recorded at 11:35 pm.  A family member has positively identified him.

Tracheal tube was held in place with tape and has been removed.

External examination of the skin revealed bruising of both median cubital regions and multiple puncture marks were observed.  Several tattoos were noted on the shoulder, arms, and anterior chest wall.  There is single gun shot wound to the head with the entry point at the right lateral temporal region of the skull.  A 9 mm slug was recovered from the left maxillary region.

Internal examination of the viscera revealed an enlarged liver.  Blood was found in the respiratory tract due to the cephalic injuries sustained.  All other organs were of normal size, weight, and color.

Tests Performed:

Toxicology screens on fluid samples

Histopathology of the liver tissue samples

Results:

Toxicology results revealed Heroine and Alcohol.

Histopathology revealed liver congestion and multifocal areas of necrosis.

Cause of Death:

Gun Shot wound to the head as a result of drug induced suicide.

Body will be cremated and remains given to family members.
