How do I do my Labs?
All Labs must be worked in WebAssign through Canvas and on time according to the course calendar. No exceptions.
You are expected to complete the four Labs (Lab1, Lab2, Lab3, and Lab 4) in WebAssign through Canvas. Labs must be worked out and submitted in WebAssign in order to receive credit for your work. Please see the course calendar to learn when the Labs are available and due.
Make sure you save you work in progress or your worked problems may be lost. Once you press the submit key, a confirmation message will display your successful submission of each Lab.
No makeup is allowed without prior written arrangement or a zero grade will be assigned to every missed Lab.
How do I take each Exam and Final?
Exams and Final must be taken in the testing center
or through ProctorU
in WebAssign through Canvas according to the course calendar with no exception.
Exams and Final passwords are not given to students.
You must
submit all exams in
WebAssign through
Canvas in
order to receive credit for your work. No makeup is allowed
without prior written arrangement or a zero grade will be assigned to every
missed exam. Student cannot
retake any of the Exams and the Final
beyond the dates posted in Canvas.
You are expected to log in Canvas in order to take all four Exams and Final. Once you submit your worked problems, both you and I can see your Exams and your graded score in WebAssign.
Before you take each assessment, watch the lectures, read the e-book in WebAssign and work the Exam's review problems at home or at any Collin's Math Labs.
Use the tutoring services offered at the Math Labs as
well as the online tutoring services available through NetTutor. For details, use
https://www.collin.edu/studentresources/tutoring/.
We do not meet at all, but you are welcomed to see me in my office with an
appointment.
There are no actual lectures to attend. The lectures are recorded on videos
in
Canvas
and in WebAssign.
Each Exam must be finished in one
sitting; otherwise, any in progress work may be
lost. To be sure, always remember to save
any work in progress answers and submit your work as soon as you finish each
Exam. Once you press the submit
key, a confirmation message will display your
successful submission of each Exam.
