This website showcases past student(s) research projects, executed with the guidance of CASMNS Professors or as part of Science, Technology, Engeneering , and Mathematics (aka. STEM) class projects.
When thinking about our Research Faculty, be it CASMNS or STEM, please consider the fact that they do this purely out of the love for science. Our gratification is to share our experience with You, the aspiring science student. We do not have many faculty members involved, but those that are involved have the qualifications and the background. Most of the faculty have PhD's with first hands-on experience in the lab and with published, peer reviewed research papers and book chapters. We are unique in that we, a Community College, offer you the opportunity to become involved in the collection of new and original data, research in the real sense of the word. Our faculty scientists have excellent qualifications and a genuine drive to get you interested and excited about the joys and frustrations that are part of the methods of scientific discoveries. The only garuantees we have is that you will become part of that initial scientific journey, be it small or large, and eventaully will start appreciate the thinking process involved the arena of scientific inquiries.

Teaching is still our #1 business and our free time is limited. So don't take these spots for granted: they are a rare but valuable commodity.
