The docu-comedy YERT (Your Environmental Road Trip) is coming to Collin College on Earth Week. It is a call to action by a planet in peril, where three friends hit the road and travel to all 50 states to explore all of America’s greatest environmental issues. The trip occurs over a yearlong span where the group searches for innovators and citizens that are tackling these environmental crises. With video camera in-hand, they explore America's unique approaches to environmental sustainability. They believe that Americans “want to do the right thing - they just don't want to look strange doing it, and they don’t have the time or the means to explore all the options”. After filming interviews with over 800 people, the YERT team is currently in phase two of their adventure and has just recently completed their first major film.
