A&P Basics |
Make sure you are ready to take the lecture exam before you begin.
The link for "current lecture quiz" will take you to the My Lab and
Mastering
A&P website or you can go directly there using your browser and the URL given
in the My Lab and Mastering A&P document sent out during the second week
of
classes.
You would have also received an access code and course ID if your student agreement
is on file.
Please refer to the My Lab and Mastering A&P document sent prior to the first
lecture quiz for information regarding registration and logins. You should have
set up
your Mastering A&P login name and password by the third week of classes.
Do not wait until the last minute to get access to My Lab and Mastering A&P.
Timed Tests will occur and only one attempt will be allowed.
Check the course calendar for the dates of the quiz or exam.
As a reminder: NO resources of any kind are to be use for any lecture quiz.
This includes but is not limited to written information (textbook, notes, Internet/Web
sources, etc.) as well as verbal
information from others. Please reference the instructors addendum and student
agreement form.
Answers for any quiz essay questions should be in your
own words and other types of questions (M/C, T/F, short answer, etc.) should
be based on your own knowledge and recall.
Lecture Quizzes will expire at 12 noon on the Monday immediately
following the quiz. Once you begin the quiz you will have ~45 minutes to answer
the questions. Having computer difficulty of any kind or running out of time
are not valid reasons for incomplete work. Part of your course requirements
are to have reliable computer and internet access.
Do not use Blackboard or CougarWeb to access the My Lab and Mastering A&P
website or you will be timed out. You must submit the quiz so it can be graded.
Failure
to submit your answers will result in a zero (0).
Any late work (if allowed) will be docked points according to what is outlined in the instructors addendum for the lecture section of the course.
Confirmation of grades will be sent via email within one week after the due date and time once the quiz has been reviewed and graded.
