Metaphysics — Ontology and Cosmology
"What's 'Is'?" and "What Is?"

Metaphysics is the branch of Philosophy that deals with Existence. Traditionally, Metaphysics has been seen as consisting of two main divisions: Ontology—the study of Being or Existence; and Cosmology—the study of Order or Form. Accordingly, illustrated below are the two Metaphysical Categories: 1) the Ontological Category—concerning Force; and 2) the Cosmological Category—concerning Form. These two categories consitute the basic philosophy of Existence; and the Categories not only entail the double-sided nature of Being: Energy and Information; they also yield the fundamental fabric of physical Being itself: Space-Time.
